February evangelism weekend
Nottingham
Very hands on and in your face!
In partnership with St Nics Church in Nottingham city centre. This is very much a hands on and out on the streets weekend of evangelism.
The weekend:
Friday night: Arrive 8pm onwards and help at Tea and Toast. St Nics night time ministry to students in the city centre.
Saturday Morning: Training on treasure hunting.
Saturday Afternoon: Treasure hunting in the city centre with invites for those we speak with to come to church on Sunday morning.
Saturday night: Free time
Sunday Morning: Church and lunch with those who come along as a result of Friday night and Saturday afternoon outreach.
Accommodation and food: Sleeping in church halls and cooking for ourselves (a small fee towards food).

East Belfast
In partnership with Church Army Evangelist, George Newell, this is a more gentle hands on than the Nottingham weekend. You will be part of a bigger team and join in with the evangelism to the extent that you are comfortable with along with some observational work.
The weekend:
Friday night: Optional youth work in church halls
Saturday morning: Car boot sale evangelism with a breakfast cafe, mainly serving and chatting with folk.
Saturday early afternoon: Prayers for healing on the streets in East Belfast with a team of other Christians from local churches.
Saturday late afternoon: Pub crawl - so to speak - it's outreach to those in pubs, again alongside those already doing this in the area.
Saturday night: Free time.
Sunday morning: Join in with a new church plant in the Braniel area.
Sunday afternoon: Optional help with the Refresh lunch group for the immigrant community.
Accommodation and food: Hopefully with Xplore families living in Belfast.
